SODEXO at HMNB Portsmouth Communications manager vacancy Monday-Friday 40 hours per week Role Responsibility Lead the delivery of effective planned internal communications campaigns, plans and strategies Provide internal communications advice and delivery in the event of an incident and enable business continuity through effective communications support (24/7) Ensure service excellence is delivered across all communications activities Be willing to innovate to enable stakeholders to contribute to business objectives and act as conduit for the enhancement of business objectives Effectively lead the team through providing effective management support, direction, and guidance to a team of two Communications Advisors for the effective delivery of team objectives and wellbeing Work with internal stakeholders to facilitate business and change communication objectives and achieve joint aims Be responsible for updating, issuing, and reporting on monthly information reports to leadership Oversee the management and improvement of Team Portsmouth Communications channels Demonstrate a good ability for linking teams across the Naval Base and lead the communications network Support the delivery of Team Portsmouth activities and events including Families’ Day’s, ship homecoming events and base-wide briefings To continue to develop one’s own skills and knowledge within the position, including any required training courses To attend briefs, huddles and meetings as required To attend your 121 reviews to discuss and agree job performance, objectives, and development activities To always maintain professional work standards To care for all company equipment and ensure that any faults are reported to management To take adequate steps to ensure the security of company and client property and monies under your control To promote and share good news stories To carry out any other reasonable tasks and/or instructions as directed by management.
