Overview As our Carrier Manager, you will manage and develop the relationships with our parcel carriers to ensure we always deliver the best possible service to our customers. This role requires travel between distribution centres in the West Midlands and our Head Office in Yeovil. Key responsibilities Accountable for the service delivery of all Screwfix Carrier partners, ensuring a market leading service experience for Screwfix customers Responsible for developing and maintaining reporting to provide the business with a clear view of service performance and trends Ensuring day to day ad-hoc service issues are swiftly understood, managed and communicated across the business Accountable for developing, maintaining and delivering a Continuous Improvement programme with all Carrier partners to drive service Identifying internal development opportunities that improve Carrier service, and create and present rounded business cases to senior team members Working with our 3PL stakeholders to implement change projects into the fulfilment centre Business owner for the delivery of carrier related development projects Supporting the Logistics Development Manager with Carrier tendering and contract management Ability to maintain good working relationships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders at all levels within carriers, fulfilment centres and the Screwfix business Deputise for the Logistics Development Manager where required Required skills & experience Experienced in working in customer fulfilment, preferably within the carrier industry Proven experience of managing relationships with multiple service providers, and driving them to deliver the highest standards A proven track record of high performance through delivering results, and achieving targets Able to demonstrate the delivery of innovation and continuous improvement for the end customer A competent user of excel, able to interpret data to reach conclusions and make recommendations Familiar with the functionality and use of CMS software to manage carrier integrations and parcel outputs Benefits 33 days’ holiday Award winning pension scheme – up to 14% Kingfisher contribution Discretionary bonus scheme 20% discount with Screwfix and B&Q Discounted healthcare and life cover Loyalty recognition & company share save scheme Currently working flexibly from home In-house training and development Follow us and find out more about #LifeAtScrewfix on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter Our policy is to employ the best qualified people and provide equal opportunity for the advancement of employees including promotion and training and not to discriminate because of gender, race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, religion, belief or disability.
