We have an exciting opportunity to join our General Merchandise team as a Central Allocation & Replenishment Assistant! A pivotal role to ensure that we have the right stock in the right place at the right time. Supporting the Merchandising team or Central A&R team to plan and execute inventory at sku/store level for the relevant category/channel to successfully achieve sales, profit, margin and stock targets. Working collaboratively with the merchandising team to maximise inventory for events and new store openings as well as providing great customer service to our stores.

As a Central Allocation & Replenishment Assistant you’ll:

  • Support Category teams as required with executing changes in the Allocation and Replenishment systems
  • Support planning, executing and measuring stock builds for new stores, extensions and refurbishments
  • Review weekly trading performance closely with Merchandising for all channels to identify stock issues / opportunities with emphasis on timely resolution
  • Respond to queries from stores via category mailboxes, providing timely and accurate status updates.
  • Plan, execute and measure reverse flow
  • Forecast future sales demand at store level for a set of categories to capture seasonal events, promotional activity, and markdown to maximise availability in stores
  • Support with the forecasting of seasonal events and store investments to the deliver strong in store execution and to enable delivery of corporate availability, markdown, stock & sales targets
  • Ensuring on time delivery of new range launches, plinth ends and all event activity
  • Ensuring outbound forecast accuracy across Events, promo’s and BAU

Our Central Allocation & Replenishment team would love to see:

  • Technical knowledge – such as Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving dynamic retail environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent admin and organisational ability
  • Continuous improvement in the role, and a desire to develop
  • Accuracy and attention to detail related to process and systems
  • Ability to build relationships and communicates effectively with key stakeholders
