As a Commercial Learning and Support Manager you will be responsible for the Training design and delivery of the Anaplan Merchandise Financial Planning system. Playing a fundamental role in the Improvement Programme, this role will lead in the design and delivery of providing fit for the future solutions and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all of our Commercial teams.

You’ll be responsible for making sure that the training is fit for purpose and in line with the Change Management strategy. Through the provision of best-in-class support, product training and working in collaboration with Product & Tech to develop the roadmap, you will ensure that any new solutions are adopted fully by our Commercial teams. This role will include influencing senior leaders across the commercial teams on new, simplified ways of working

This role can be based at either Milton Keynes or Coventry Ansty Office but travelling to both will be required.

As a Commercial Learning and Support Manager you’ll:

  • Leading on the design and development of training content and material to make sure it supports the needs of our user base
  • Engaging and impactful delivery of training, both face to face and remotely, across our business users
  • Management, administration, and co-ordination of all training sessions and user support.
  • Continuous feedback and review of training content and delivery, addressing any gaps and creating new content to address the needs of users.
  • Playing a key role in the design of the Anaplan solution providing Subject Matter Expertise to the Product, Tech and Implementation partner
  • Working with Product, Tech, become an expert of the Anaplan solution, building models that will support future ways of working
  • Work closely with the Merchandising teams, building up an awareness and knowledge of each Brand and identifying opportunities to standardise ways of working within Merchandise Financial Planning
  • You will lead on driving commercial capability through the programme management of training design and delivery priorities:
  • Working in collaboration with the Change Managers, leading on the design of new systems and processes, providing Subject Matter Expertise to the Product and Tech teams.
  • Proposing new solutions to the Change and Improvement team and Senior Leaders on ways of working across multiple functions.
  • Represent the interests and perspectives of broader business colleagues impacted by any new solution or process and ensures that agreed Comms Strategy is being followed.
  • Resolve raised impediments or escalates to the relevant governance forum (Working Groups, Programme Board, etc.)
  • Provide business insight to the Project and Change Managers to ensure training approach, plan, and execution is fit for purpose including how it continuously evolves
  • Lead on continual key operational activities within the platform after launch.

Our Change & Improvement would love to see:

  • Significant proven experience in a Merchandising role including experience of long term planning and strategy planning
  • Proven experience of managing processes or budgets within a high profile role or with high accountability
  • Strong practical working knowledge relating to Commercial Planning processes and principles
  • Strong working knowledge of the GM operating model, key processes, and the key functional hand-offs.
  • Understanding and awareness of Industry Best practices across buying and merchandising
  • Demonstrable experience of managing third party suppliers and stakeholders
  • Understanding of corporate strategy and how GM&C functional priorities align.
  • How to manage through ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Have experience of facilitating, leading, and developing interactive forums or workshops.
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills to secure commitment and support to solutions up to SM level. Experience of influencing senior leaders to new ways of working, systems and processes etc.
  • Demonstratable experience of matrix management across multiple teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills in play, inspiring a positive change mentality
