Ethical Trade Coordinator Operations

Ethical Trade & Environmental Sustainability (ET/ES) Operations:

Purpose of role: Enter data into the system in an accessible form with a high level of accuracy and integrity

Reports to: Ethical Trade Executive Operations

Location: Peterborough, UK

Key Responsibilities:


Data and Programme Management


Audit
Data

  • Prioritise and process audit data and upload audit documents to a central database
  • Update databases as required ensuring all data is complete and 100% accurate
  • Able to enter data at the required speed but not at the expense of accuracy
  • Proactively conduct regular checks on data to find and fix errors
  • Challenge inconsistencies in data and documentation and provide feedback to relevant teams
  • Work collaboratively with the team to manage time and priorities
  • Assist in audit planning for regional teams
  • Gather information to support the reporting team in their ongoing analysis
  • Ability to present findings to Senior Ethical Trade Managers and other areas of the business as required
  • Other key administration tasks may be also required as per the direction of Managers and Executives in the team but will be kept in line with your current level of responsibility


Systems

  • Work within agreed KPIs to ensure systems are updated in a timely manner
  • Provision of information and documentation to buying teams, Sourcing, Ethical trade Field/Central teams and suppliers/factories as required


Programme
Support

  • Lead on the monitoring aspects relating to Structural, Environmental and Solutions
  • Provide support and cover for specific monitoring programmes
  • Support the ongoing maintenance of the Investigations Tracker Spreadsheet

Structural
Support

  • Liaise with the in-country team members and structural team to ensure all record keeping is complete and accurate.
  • Complete formal issue of documentation to Suppliers and Factories following Structural Assessment


Knowledge & Experience

  • Knowledge of audit approval processes within an Ethical Trade programme – desirable
  • Knowledge of administrative tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Confident in database systems and associated reporting and other IT tools
  • A self-starter who is results driven in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a team orientated, collaborative environment
  • Understanding of the need to work with integrity and professionalism
