This isn’t just an ordinary warehouse

We use innovative and state-of-the-art technology, and joining us as a Warehouse Operative means you’ll be working for the world’s largest and fastest-growing online grocery retailer in a safe, clean, fast-paced, warehouse environment.

Our first employees will play a critical role in getting the site ready to operate. This means initially you will be a general warehouse operative working in our Inbound team; unpacking, inspecting, and scanning our storage totes ahead of taking deliveries, and receiving and decanting goods into the totes.

There is no need to have any previous experience as you will receive full training, but you will need to have a good level of fitness, be able to work in multiple temperatures, from chilled to ambient (minimum 2oC), have a good eye for detail and be able to work independently but also be a good team player.

Want to make a real difference to the lives of Ocado customers every day? Great! Here’s what you need to know.

What’s in it for you?

Our people are at the heart of our business and without them we wouldn’t be able to deliver our award-winning service to millions of customers across the country each day. On your breaks, we have a chill out area where you can relax, a room with a pool table and Games. We also have a quiet room if you need somewhere to be alone with your thoughts.

We have a whole host of benefits available to you with some of most popular being;

  • Holiday purchase scheme so you can spend more time with family and friends

  • Life assurance – we fund you for 3 x your salary so your loved ones will be financially protected if you were to pass away
