About our team

Our Engineering Services function is responsible for aiding the design, testing and manufacture of our automated products relating to our hardware and software products. We have a brilliant opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our mission and help support the next phase of our products.

How you’ll spend your days…

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for managing, improving and developing the quality management system and underpinning processes that support Product Development.

Other responsibilities might include;

  • Supporting the implementation of the Quality Management System

  • Defining the Quality System scope and strategy for the wider business

  • Preparing and presenting performance reports for senior management

  • Completing internal project quality audits to ensure compliance with project quality standards

  • Managing the internal audit system and corrective action reporting system

  • Creating documentation for the Quality Management System

  • Providing training on Quality topics and raising awareness

  • Developing quality procedures to ensure that content is appropriate

  • Coordinating reviews of quality procedures relating to continuous improvement activity

  • Hosting external Quality System audits

  • Interpreting and implementing quality assurance standards

  • Recommending preventative and corrective actions to achieve quality assurance standards

  • Promoting the use of process improvement techniques (e.g. Six Sigma)

  • Developing and maintaining processes and documentation to achieve business objectives

  • Initiating a Quality calendar of events and engagement plans

We’d love to talk to you if you have…

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015

  • Comprehensive command of SDLC and PDLCs

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of Quality Systems

  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes

  • Ability to communicate with and present to senior management

  • Experience in a dynamic environment

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work on own initiative

Bonus points if you also have…

  • Knowledge of CMMi, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement OHSAS 18001, ISO 27001 plus ECR/ECN processes

  • Proficiency with software tools for document management such as Cognidox

  • Comprehensive command of SDLC and PDLCs
