About the role
As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery of projects and programmes within the stream, meeting the cost, timeline and quality requirements set by the business.. This role actively contributes to projects and/or programmes that help the Technology mission in successfully delivering critical and essential projects.. In this role, you will be a go-to person for the projects you lead, with great expertise, Strong problem-solving skills, able to demonstrate ability to “ think out of the box” and apply creativity in solving project-related problems to mutually agreeable solutions.

Experience of high risk, high-complexity product development projects and life cycles in an energising environment – bringing new products to market – from Problem Definition through to Benefits Realisation

Strong understanding and experience of leading projects, using various project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc) within a structured stage-gated development process. People leadership experience – managing individual contributors, steering them and their teams and goal setting. Able to build, inspire and drive project teams to successful outcomes through strong collaboration and teamwork

Experienced leadership of technical teams, working with technical experts to drive solution deliverables to deadlines

Strong experience of working with and managing a broad spectrum of internal and external stakeholders

Good technical ability and experience relating to automation hardware

Experience in understanding requirements trade-offs and applying the appropriate analysis tools in order to make decisions and manage variations and consult stakeholders as appropriate to gain resolution
