The Role:

Our love of fashion is the inspiration for everything we do here at New Look and that inspiration starts with our amazing in house design team. The world has changed, and we now do so much more virtually that we want our presentation packs to reflect all the creativity and excitement that the New Look design team offers. Every day is different as part of a team, constantly working with one eye on the now and the other on the future but the role will consist of working as part of the in-house design team to create inspirational presentations and print-ready artwork and design packs for presentations to all levels of people within the business.

If you have a passion for layout, font and colour work then this is the role for you. A passion for graphic design and illustration would be great.

A finger on the pulse of all the latest graphic, layout and typography trends. A strong eye for colour and how to put colour together to grab the audience.

• Working as part of the in-house design team to create inspirational presentations and print-ready artwork and design packs for presentations to all levels of people within the business. If you have a passion for layout, font and colour work then this is the role for you. A passion for graphic design and illustration would be great.
• A finger on the pulse of all the latest graphic, layout and typography trends. A strong eye for colour and how to put colour together to grab the audience.
• Helping develop and maintain a strong brand identity under the guidance of the Design Managers.
• Take briefs from Senior Head of Fashion and the Design Managers, execute accordingly and develop close working relationships with colleagues and the wider team
• Supporting the team in the maintenance of the server and its assets (where artwork is stored), filing and archiving accurately and effectively.
• Applying creative concepts through to artwork accurately.
• Working with other team members to ensure all projects are completed accurately, on time and to the highest and most inspirational standard.
• Creating fun GIFS to include in the design packs will be part of the role when required.
• Once settled into the role there may be opportunity to work on graphic designs for T-Shirts for the right candidate.
• Proactively working to critical path deadlines. You will be the driving force that ensures that presentation packs are started in line with the critical path, working on 2 or more packs within the same timeframe.

About You:

• Strong design skills – You’re not pixel-perfect precious, but your work is high quality.

• You have a passion for fashion and trend.

• You can ship to deadlines, are a natural at spinning plates working on multiple projects at the same time

• You’re creative – but you respect process and the need to deliver on time.

• Strong knowledge of latest design software packages such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. Working on Powerpoint on sharepoint is on a bonus.

• A clear understanding of print processes.

• Knowledge of Retouching would be a bonus

Previous experience of creating GIFS for presentations.
