Job Overview

Based at MOD Abbey Wood, working Monday to Friday. Provide dedicated administrative support to a Mitie team to ensure effective and efficient operation as directed by your line manager. The role will encompass the delivery of wide variety of tasks, with a focus of this role being the deliverance of excellent administrative service.

Main Duties

Efficient clerical and administrative support as required including but not limited to:

  • Provide data entry and support for various MOD systems.
  • Meet, greet and escort visitors, coordinating meeting room and other requirements.
  • IT equipment management and records keeping.
  • Ensure all associated paperwork is completed and maintained in an orderly and timely manner.
  • Assist in the distribution of communication material and .presentations
  • Any other requirements of Line Manager.
  • Support for Front of House.

What we are looking for

  • Strong team player orientation – cooperative and willing to assist others.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, and comfortable with numerical reasoning.
  • Engaging communicator demonstrating influencing skills and an ability to adapt approaches to differing audiences.
  • Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands. Strong multi-tasking capability, project and deadline oriented.
  • Maintains effective work behaviour in the face of setbacks or pressure – remains calm and in control of themselves.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
