In your new role as a Service Co-ordinator you will implement controls and measures to ensure that service levels are achieved across all areas, reporting any potential service level failure immediately to the Line Manager. The successful candidate will involve working part of a Patient Catering Team in Hospital setting. You will monitor and adjust resources across the department ensuring that labour is in line with the hours for the service. You will manage absence for the service ensuring return to work interviews are being completed and absence levels tracked, as well ensuring effective methods for managing holiday bookings. You will ensure that all colleagues are trained in accordance with requirements and that the hospital remains contractually complaint. You will utilise the internal HR systems and people support services, ensuring teams are coached/developed and reviews are completed.

In order to be successful in this role you will uphold and reflect the vision and values of the Trust, seeking to improve productivity and the quality of the service. You will be fully competent in the use of PC’s and other technology, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will work well under pressure to meet the challenging deadlines for both operational and people aspects of the role, being able to plan and manage workloads. Previous Catering and Supervisory experience is recommended.
