Retail Account Area Manager Job Overview Responsible for the physical security service delivery to c.30 retail store stores for a major retail client in the Southwest Ensure that all security personnel welfare matters are handled effectively Responsible for local client relationships visiting stores on a regular basis Conduct security KPI's visits and colleague welfare visits Main Duties Responsible for service delivery based upon an established pattern of security services in place Resource planning, including, Recruitment, rota management and manpower planning Drive a ‘service excellence' culture among the security teams. Utilise existing KPI's, benchmarks and milestones to measure and demonstrate progress and achievement against goals Liaise with Suppliers and Sub-contractors, to achieve optimum efficiency Ensure compliance is in place for security services provided Ensure all Store documentation, including Assignment Instructions & Risk Assessments are completed and maintained Production of monthly reports for Management Team and client(s) as required – including presenting them. Ensure that Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are achieved. Manage teams for the stores, including HR issues, appraisals, and succession planning. Carry out regular site audits Ensure that all H&S guidelines and regulations are always followed. Ensures that all colleagues are trained in accordance with clients and companies' requirements for security services Work closely with teams to ensure performance targets are met and all works are carried out effectively, efficiently and in a safe manner. Acts as an ambassador for bringing to life the Mitie values daily ensuring they and their teams demonstrate the exceptional everyday. What we are looking for Operational management experience gained within a security environment Ability to demonstrate positive customer relationships, and colleague welfare Customer focused and aware of retail security requirements Flexible approach to duties with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Able to communicate well both written and verbally with colleagues and customers Competent user of IT packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
