The GSOC/GSS Liaison Officer will be responsible for facilitating communications between Global Security departments, to ensure critical information is shared efficiently and effectively. The GSOC/GSS Liaison Officer will work to support the different Global Security departments by championing cross collaboration and the management of information flow. This role will work with senior regional security leadership to identify and log local security conditions and to share relevant information across the GSOC and GSS teams to further support the security posture in the local area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Lead as the POC on regional security conditions and have an awareness of upcoming events that may impact the regional conditions
  • Manage projects related to GSOC/GSS collaboration as needed on a case-by-case basis
  • Identify relevant information to be shared out to local security to increase awareness and better security posturing
  • Lead discussions with stakeholders on security conditions and the collaborative efforts underway to manage both local and regional security conditions
  • Maintain all documentation relating to the role and ensure visibility of the documentation with all relevant stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for meaningful collaboration between the GSOC and GSS teams
  • Review role related processes ensuring that an optimal level of efficiency and effectiveness is being achieved
  • Writing high level reports on an ad-hoc and periodic basis
  • Support special projects as and when needed
  • Follow Mitie and site procedures, protocols, SOP’s, and policies to meet statutory legislation and service agreements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills with fast paced critical thinking ability
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks and responsibilities
  • Able to work with confidential information and instil confidence and trust in stakeholders in doing do
  • Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership
  • Able to understand security climate throughout the region and to clearly communicate outwards in a concise and clear manner
