Job Overview The role This is an exciting new role created to support Transport for London in their requirement to provide CCTV for Non-Crime incidents that occur on the Transport for London network, as well as administration of Subject Access Requests. The CCTV Data Administrators will be based in Central London and travel across the network as required. Travel passes will be provided. The team will comprise of Three Administrators and will be managed by the current Evidence Team Supervisor who will support and guide the team. The team will have to complete SIA, CCTV Level 2, Sentinel and GDPR and LU-IWA training. System familiarisation will be undertaken by Transport for London. The role will be on a One-year fixed term contract that could extend beyond the 12-month term with the possibility of integrating into the current Evidence Team if future aspirations are met. The team will work an 8-hour shift, will not be rostered for nights/weekends/bank holidays. Main Duties: To provide overall operational CCTV download of the current systems used by Transport for London including supporting operational incident investigations following requests from London Underground safety teams external regulatory bodies. To provide detailed administration when receiving and processing the requests which will be received via email. The requests will need to be logged, a ref number allocated, an acknowledgement sent, the download secured and placed into a folder along with any dependant files, the folder uploaded (and an email to confirm. To provide support and administration for Subject Access Requests with the sensitivity and security required for such applications. To maintain flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours, for which additional payment will be made, or change shift patterns to ensure the resilience of the service is maintained. To work with the current Evidence Team, with the ability and drive to embed within the team if a role or requirement exists. To provide written witness statements and attend court if necessary. To capture, process, log accurately and help to provide data (evidence) in accordance with DPA, and other instructions and procedures. To operate the CCTV system in accordance with the legislation regarding the use of CCTV and the systems Code of Practice, Operational Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and any other instructions issued by Transport for London To ensure all logs, reports and records are produced accurately and promptly. To liaise daily with Evidence Manager and provide a daily schedule of work. To maintain strict privacy when engaged in your role. To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner and comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures. To undertake additional duties in line with management requests as required.
