Job Description:

As Project Support Officer you will be required to collaborate across the directorate and wider, building positive relationships with colleagues and relevant partners to successfully deliver the Project Management Office (PMO) priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project file management using robust version control. Organise key project meetings and provide secretariat support.
  • Maintain a lively programme mailbox and act as a point of contact, drafting correspondence.
  • Assist with and maintain risk, issue, and dependency logs, escalating as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining project controls and in producing project reports.
  • Produce and maintain meeting documentation, including action and decision logs.
  • Assist with various aspects of standard programme governance processes. Including the quarterly commissions for the Government Major Projects Portfolio (GMPP).

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • A sound understanding of risks and issues and appropriate options for their collection, recording, management, and control.
  • Establishing working relationships with a range of partners both internal and external.
  • Communicating effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organisation using excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Working with multiple priorities in an ever-changing/fast paced environment.
